Yonico 14971q 3/4 Bottom Cleaning Router Bit 1/4 Shank

The bottom cleaning router bit features a cutting diameter of 3/4" and a cutting depth of 5/8". This bit also boasts center meeting blades and a 1/4" shank. Designed for routing perfectly clean cavities and resurfacing projects, this premium tool is equipped with C3 micro-grain tungsten carbide blades for a sharper and longer-lasting edge. Suitable for use on CNC, table-mounted, and handheld routers (up to 2-1/2" diameter), the bit is manufactured with silver induction brazing for maximum strength and durability. The center meeting blades ensure smooth profile cutting, while the anti-kickback design helps prevent workshop mishaps.

Our bottom cleaning router bits are designed with center-meeting cutters that function as regular straight bit cutters with additional bottom cleaning properties. This feature leaves nicely cleaned-up routed bottom surfaces, especially useful when clearing large areas that will remain exposed. In contrast, the cutters on most straight router bits do not meet at the very center of the bit, resulting in dados and pockets cut with regular straight bits often having less than perfectly smooth bottom surfaces.
